Who We Are
We support elected officials and candidates s for local office in Placer County California. For candidates we share strategic advice, campaign support, volunteer coordination, and voter outreach through our Neighbors and texting programs. For electeds we offer community support for initatives and programs.
Our Voter Database
Effective voter outreach depends on good voter data to identify supporters and get out the vote. We share an NGP VAN (Voter Activation Network) voter database called SmartVAN California. Our SmartVAN instance includes all districts and precincts in Placer County. It provides tools for analyzing voters, organizing volunteers, and creating targeted lists.
Our Neighbors Program
Our Neighbors program is a variation of Indivisible’s highly effective Neighbor2Neighbor voter outreach program. Given a volunteer's address, we supply a list of neighbor households with addresses, names, ages, genders, and party or no party affiliation for each household member. Our Texting Program
Voter outreach by text is key to reaching voters of all ages, especially when getting out the vote. We share an account with texting service provider ThruText. Our candidates use the voter database to generate lists of voters with mobile phones and craft their own messages. To volunteer for our texting program please sign up on our Texting Volunteer page.
2024 Local Election Results
Although results for the 2024 General Election will not be certified by the California Secretary of State until December 7th, the Placer County Registrar of Voters has posted results for the County.
